Samsung has launched the Galaxy A06 5G, the company’s latest budget 5G smartphone in the A series in India, days after the launch of Galaxy F06 5G.
This has a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD screen and an 8MP camera in the notch. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, which has up to 6GB of RAM and 6GB of virtual RAM.
It runs Android 15 with One UI 7, and Samsung has confirmed that the phone would receive four generations of OS upgrades and four years of security patches. The phone has an IP54 rating, which means it is dust and splash resistant.
The phone boasts a 50MP rear camera and a 2MP depth sensor, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 5000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging, although no charger is included in the package.
