MediaTek, A Taiwan based semiconductor industry has recently announced its new 5G Chipset called Mediatek Dimensity 1000C. MediaTek has also announced LG velvet is the first phone powered by Dimensity 1000C(MT6883Z). Dimensity 1000C, A octa-core Soc comes with four cortex A-77 cores and four power efficient Cortex A-55 cores clocked upto 2GHZ. Dimensity 1000c is built on 7nm architecture.
Dimensity 1000C supports AV1 video hardware encoding with youtube and Netflix for better higher resolutions and also for better battery. It can also handle fold or flip phone displays. 1000C supports RAM upto 12GB LPDD4x RAM clocked at 1866 MHz and UFS 2.2 storage.
