The next generation Core Ultra processors, dubbed “Lunar Lake,” will be unveiled by Intel on September 3rd at the Berlin IFA exhibition.
Intel ‘Lunar Lake’ Core Ultra Processors for AI PCs
Lunar Lake processors from Intel will have cutting-edge microarchitecture that combines great performance and low power usage.
According to reports, Lunar Lake might be referred to as the ‘Core Ultra 200V,’ marking a major update to Intel’s chip architectures and design strategies.
The Lunar Lake “Core Ultra 200V” CPUs will include:
- CPU: New Lion Cove P-Cores and Skymont E-Cores, which provide notable IPC improvements.
- GPU: The new Xe2 architecture with advanced XMX capabilities.
- NPU4: Delivering up to 48 TOPS, totaling 120 TOPS of AI computing power within a compact SoC.
Launch Event Schedule
On September 3rd at 6 p.m. CEST (9 a.m. PDT / 9:30 p.m. IST), Intel will host a livestreamed event to announce their Lunar Lake Core Ultra CPUs. A recorded version of the event will be accessible on Intel’s Newsroom page.
